About My Practice

Beginning therapy can be daunting. However, when we start to work together it can be a relief to unburden yourself to someone who helps you make sense of the problems that have bothered you for a long time. We work to deepen what you know about yourself, including about how long-standing beliefs and fears have had a part in shaping you. But beyond that, we look to understand the ways in which these fears have become obstacles to feeling more connected to yourself and others or to reach other important life goals.

Helping you find new ways to solve long-standing problems is the goal of our work. As you come to understand more about yourself, you’ll feel a growing sense of comfort, strength and ability to make good choices for yourself that lead to positive change.
