About My Practice

You feel stuck, down, angry, or anxious. You’re taking things personally, not getting what you want in life, feeling blocked in your relationships, blaming others (and ultimately yourself) when things go wrong.

It’s impossible to go through life without hitting some low spots in the road. Most of us simply want to feel better about ourselves, more engaged with our work, with the people in our lives — more in touch with who we really are and what we really want. But we find ourselves feeling like things are our fault, or that we’re somehow not good enough —false judgments that grow out of beliefs and feelings that usually begin in childhood.

I enjoy being in the process of change with my clients, helping them move from feeling stuck to seeing that they have choice. In therapy, we’ll work together to understand where you feel stuck, to talk about it without judgment, and to lighten your load. You’ll learn some new approaches to old habits that don’t work for you anymore, and you’ll learn that you no longer need to be afraid of just being yourself. As we progress, you’ll begin to see the potential that’s always been inside you, waiting for the chance to connect in genuine relationship with others and with the world.
